Shards Unfold

As the Four are helping people get to their feet and stabilize bleeding wounds, the Clerics of St.Cord have already created an emergency hospital just inside the Temple.
Wounded are pouring in and it seems that whatever caused this, is gone.
Nihlus Warren and Xander Kagan notice the differently-dressed human walking towards them and the Gnome running through main street.
Both start to ask who he is, but before the words leave their mouths a pitched roar sound from all sides; the well, the roofs, the streets.
And as they take on defensive stances, Shadow's shirt glows brightly and becomes multi-colored, Coop's ring throbs and gains a halo, Xander's amulet pulses around his neck and Nihlus' holy symbol levitates off his chest.
Wide-eyed they stare at their own 'Shards' and the others'.
Having no time to ponder on it, they are suddenly attacked.
Several creatures, looking like small white dragons slash forward.
Each wields a short sword and carries an extra dart.
Needing no time to think, the Illusionist casts a Color Spray at his assailant and quickly eliminates the threat.
The Sorcerer isn't as lucky, while casting his Shielding spell a Whitespawn Hordeling jumps down from the roof, charging in.
And both the Cleric and the Paladin take up arms versus the creatures crawling up from the well.
Then, Shadow loads his crossbow and aims carefully at the unconscious Spawn, goung for a coup-de-grace.
Coop evaded the first attack but, as he hits the creature with his Magic Missile, is then damaged by its Cold breath attack.
Nihlus and Xander take turns hitting the two small Dragons and are hit in return.
Wanneskor reloads and shoots again at his opponent, killing it.
Terrified of the cold; Nevare runs to the Temple.
And Warren and Kagan triumph over their opponents.
Coop arrives at the temple, trying to convey that there are verocious creatures outside and Shadow Wanneskor is helped out by the other two.
Victorious they come together at the Temple of St.Cord and are met with disbelief.
Apparantly they were the only ones who saw the attackers..
And as they turn to each other for feedback, the entire town is bustling with people in the streets again. The buildings are whole and all is as if nothing had just happened.

Strange things happen here. But I find some humans to go on with, and we have a quest. First step to the wide world for me. Hope I will get some respect soon, so the payment will get better for me.
