Where Angels Fall, Heroes Rise

After looting the Shadow Shoal's Citadel of valuables and useful magic, the four return to Hillsfar.

Utilizing a new-found Rod of Cancellation they free Prynneous Darkrose from his stasis and get him up to speed on the Harbingers effects.
Ever quick to defend the land and destroy evil wherever and whenever they can, they leave the townsfolk in the First's capable hands and hunt down several of the Harbinger's Generals.

In those fights they defeat both a Winterwight and a vicious Fang Dragon, as well as learn of some of the Harbingers defences and probable attack options.

Taking time to restock en equip whatever they need, Xander receives a Sending from Gurin.
He has found Atonement in the last few tendays and is on his way to Hillsfar. There he will help fortify the city against undead incursions.
Darkrose offers to ride the wind through the Dales, warning people and aiding wherever he can.

The four Heroes Nihlus, Xander, Shadow and Coop are tasked with the destruction of the Harbinger.. or at the very least, send it back into the Void.

With several active spells to counteract the near-vacüum and the massive Negative Energy effects, they set out towards the north.
Speeding overland in cloud-form the devastation becomes more evident the closer they get.

The Harbingers descent brought a world-wide Desecrate in effect.
Not only bolstering existing Undead, but producing more and more
every passing day.

Many hordes of weaker undead now roam the land; entire legions of skeletons and zombies march.
And closer to the Harbinger they notice pockets of incorporeal Undead flying out; Ghasts, Shadows, Spectres.
Which are unaffected by daylight hours, since the sun is blotted out by dark clouds.

Then flashes of light appear around the base of the moonlet's undead-spewing blue column.
Pinpoints of Hope materialize as they Gate in from the Court of Stars.

Supported in their Faith the four Heroes rush up,
15,000 feet up to the surface of the Moonlet where the Harbinger resides.

And below them, the first of many Angels falls.. dies.. and rises as an Angel of Decay..
