Demands

Both Bael and Markosian gritted their teeth, as Helios had first right of demand.
The council impatiently waited till he had finished.
“In short, you demand from us to provide for a full-scale Golem creation laboratory and in return you shall provide us with Access? “
“Yes my Lords, I am sure the arrangement shall be to our mutual benefit,” Helios replied.
“Very well, if you provide us Access, we shall accommodate your every need.”

Next came Markosian’s demands.
“We understand what you demand from us, and we agree to your terms.
We shall, however, provide the Outsider,” the Council answered.

“Bael, step forward and issue your demand.”
“Humbly I demand not anything. But I ask of you that I foster the Source.
Surely she will be Tainted quickly.”
“We grant you your request, however, Kayla shall be the first sacrifice.”

“We conclude this meeting and the Staff shall issue the items.
You are all three reminded what will happen if you should fail.
Now leave us.”
The Devil behind Thrones left with the Staff as both Bael and Helios went to the supply buildings.


The Staff surveyed the shelves and reached out to the lower ones.
“NO, an other one,” Nevron beamed.
Acknowledging the Grand Conjurer, the Staff reached further up and took an elaborately characterized Iron Flask and handed it to Markosian “the Devil behind Thrones”.
“And this,” the Staff explained,” will be your Captain.”
From behind a curtain a Bugbear stepped forward.
“My ship, the Rabird Drawn, ard crew arr yerrs to command sirr.”
“Prepare for conquest then, “Markosian replied,” and we shall rename this Rabid Dawn to Helios’ Hope.”
Laughing from his inside joke he made sure Captain Mange understood what following him meant.
“Har, har, har, “Mange laughed loud,” a great idear sirr.”

With both of them leaving, still laughing, Nevros beckoned the Staff.
“That Flask remains my property, see to that.”
“Yes Lord Conjurer,” the Staff answered.
