Ever since they had built atop Thistletop, Ripnugget told Grogmurt he has visions of a new God, and even hears its voice.
"Malfeshnekor will rise to power, and grows us greater than the longshanks," Ripnugget told the Druid.
As the years passed, they grew estranged but their tribe flourished.
Warchief Ripnugget felt empowered by his new God and Grogmurt held off intruders through his thorny maze.
A few weeks ago, Grogmurt was told to let through a party of longshank mercenaries.
The Druid was never let in on what they discussed, but the group stayed and its leader; a silver-haired female, apparantly told his Warchief what to do next.
Grogmurt argued against the raid on Sandpoint, reasoning it would only rile up the humans and visit eventual retaliation in the form of hunting dogs, horse-mounted soldiers, and adventurers.
Yet, Ripnugget chose to ignore Gogmurt's advice.
The bitter goblin has all but washed his hands of the tribe as a result, and in his foul mood has ordered more goblin refugees than necessary into the Howling Hole.
Gogmurt has been brooding for days, and has been expecting adventurers to strike at Thistletop at nay time, day or night.
While he doesn´t agree with Ripnugget´s current tactics, he remains loyal to the idea of the Thistletop Goblin Tribe.
Today everything changed.
A group of Longshanks invaded his maze, and killed all the remaining refugees.
He caught them in his Entanglement spell and took putshots trying to take them down. Which proved more difficult than he imagined and after several rounds left the maze with his companion.
He heard sounds of combat coming from the island as Grogmurt healed his wounds and pondered upon his options.
He spies on the Heroes returning from the island, beaten but not defeated.
Boldly the Druid steppes out of his maze and confronts the four with his predicament.
"My Warchief Ripnugget is under a spell from another Longshank. His mind is not his own and he will lead all Thistletop Goblins to doom. I do not want more Goblin blood to be spilled and offer you a truce as well as my Chief's coöperation as soon as you take out the one controlling him.
She hides beneath Thistletop, with a few other mercenaries.
I can lead you to a sealevel entrance leading to their hideout.
Are we agreed?"

Michael Van Gemen:
Grogmurt:
"The silver-haired woman with weird eyes and a torn-up belly has four allies.
A brutish bugbear mercenary named Bruthazmus.
A quiet human man who wears lots of metal armor.
A dark-skinned violent human woman who's used fire to scorch several goblins who got too close to her.
And a male half-elf who seems to happy all the time and who sometimes plays the flute."
