The mantra kept repeating itself in her head while Fembrys wailed and stammered, trying to refocus those defilers' attention on someone else.
And when they did, she ran.
Downstairs and past the Dark guards, through the hallway and stepped up to the Shadow Gate. Arthas was disturbed in her correspondence and strapped on her armor.
"The gate musn't be claimed," Fembrys mumbled.
Invoking her cleric powers she chanted to Shar and disabled the gate..
On she ran, past the cells and grabbing a raft at the end.
She peddled out, hiding the raft downstream and unbuckled her armor.
With the use of her Disc of Secrets and her maxed out disguise skill she was soon walking the streets of Wheloon, appearing to all as a cleric of Silvanus.
It wasn't hard to determine the outcome of the intrusion at the temple.
Apparantly the invaders had succesfully taken down any of importance and acquired a few prisoners, including Shan Thar.
Understanding the foolhardy nature of adventurers she deduced that they'll soon travel to the Vast Swamp, following up on any information found or gained through interrogation or from a divine source.
Instead of riding out and warning any and all of their coming, she decided to wait a day. One day for those four adventurers to travel southeast Cormyr, encounter some resistance or even get captured before she had to intervene.
Traveling a day apart Fembrys came to understand her folly.
The creepers at the Tomb of Chonis were routed, the Lizardfolk had made contact with them, and when she finally enetered the Lost refuge, it was emptied.
She searched the keep, and used divination, to learn of what had transpired. Then stepped through the Dusk Lord's Passage and into the Realm of Shadow.
Having learned only the basics of this place, she headed upstairs to channel the Lord's visage.
Reclining on the throne she heard the voice of Shar speak directly to her, and she knew then what to do.
The Shadow Elementals left her alone, and downstairs she called out to those who had fled before the onslaught of the four nonbelievers.
Who would surely return..
Then a lone lizardfolk entered the Passage..
