An assault on an Enclave could only provoke all of Thay to retaliate. No Daleland army would dare such a brash move.

2 Tendays passed, while the Red Wizards cast their Illusions, prepared Symbols and Traps. Rigged doorways, Miraged the central building and enchanted the vendor stalls.
Lucien moved most of his forces away from Featherdale and informed The Black Hammer.
On the 14th Lucien was attacked and killed. Bael destroyed most of Lucien's equipment and notes in the aftermath and spotted his attackers..
The adventurers.
Back in the enclave their identities were divined and cornfirmed to be the ones to assault Hillsfar's Enclave in 3 days.
On the 17th, Bael ordered most of the Enclaves crafters through the Portal after which he disabled it.
In a final Circle ritual, Bael received nearly half of the Specialist Wizards spell slots and then told each to stay in their residence.
On the night of the 17th, early morning 18th, Bael awoke..
Tresspassers lurked outaide..
He started to cast his defensive spells...
