As Shadow, Coop, Nihlus and Xander pursued more quests, embarked on more missions, and slew more and greater creatures, they grew in experience.
Reaching their paragon paths, they've gone and went ahead of the Cavalla into enemy territory with the use of Coop's Teleporting spell.
Fully prepared, they entered the swamp of Thar and efficiently routed any indiginous opposition that barred their way to the Fallen Temple of the Stars, where they expect to encounter Stephen as well as extra-terrestial resistance.
Little did they know, that from orbit a taskforce consisting of cybernetic enhanced guardians is already rigging the complex, to ensure that none shall abuse their advanced technology.
Now they will clash, and there shall be only one outcome.
A Nuclear explosion; a sudden power surge, then a rupture in the nuclear vessel, followed by a series of explosions.
The end result:
A mushroom shaped cloud 45,000 feet high...

And the best part is: We were gone before the explosion. AND we took the brain in an jar.
Now to find out how to get it to work.

Now I know that Pelor has taken notice.
As I felt new power invigourating me, I knew Pelor meant for us to defeat these foul constructs and Stephen.
I also have the idea that St. Cord and Boccob have taken a liking towards the others.
We are victorious!
And on top of that none other than us have gained new insights on the stars and their magic.
That information is save with us!
