Our Band of Heroes moves towards the Hostel of the Sacred stone, escorted by their newly hired henchman and sent by First Lord; both to acquire help in their campaign for equal rights as well as to recover an ancient Silver skeleton, supposedly hidden under the Hostel.
Their journey of 5 days was uneventful and they soon set eyes upon a squat stone building.
Leaving their horses, cart and Hippogriff outside in the care of the six they enter the warm, bustling and crowded establishment.
Making their way to the cou8nter they notice that they are the only humans(and gnome) inside, that has not an aspect of another creature.
Madge,Dwarf, awaits them eagerly and sells them some of finest beers and wines. He even pours a few 'House Specials'.
Popular local Legend; the Silver Skeleton, is easily overheard.
By lore, it is revered by Kobolds living in the massive underground aquaduct. Built by Dwarves a very long time ago.
And the story of how this Hostel came to be is related;
The Saint Sonnlinor Stoneheart sacrificed his own life to save the dwarfs anf killing the ravaging Blue Dragon with him.
From his favourite Boulder the back wall was constructed and a part of his skull is in storage.
Finding the Silver Skeleton will have to be through the nearby well. The so-called Black Well, from which the occasional Kobold emerges to feast on horses..

Ah, yes, they're followers of Kurtulmak. I read something about that.
It's a savage deity who teaches kobolds to defend themselves and assault the unwary by any means necessary, including the traps of which he's fond.
Oh yeah, Shadow... they hate gnomes in particular...
We should watch our every step in there. -
