Introducing Anon

For Anon growing up was not the same as for every other human.
Since he isn't.. human.
Being tolerated at most, because of his father's position in the merchant guild, Anon lived a sheltered life.

When the day came he had to learn a trade and live 'among' others, he was exposed to the cruelty of real-life.
Children and teens always bully on the one who doens't stand up for himself.
And although he tried to by reasoning with them, as was his parent's way, it didn't help him much.
And so he took on the insults, occasional beating from his peers and the endless speeches from his parents.

All the while trying to be 'human', and trying not to stand out.

As Anon grew older, his shape change control was also improving.
Which led him to experiment; sometimes to great results, but more often to disastrous results.

When the draft from the Purple Dragons came, Anon was quick to volunteer. Later he learned that almost no ever volunteers..

In the army he learned to fully control both his emotions and his appearance. Able to infiltrate enemy structures and come up with diplomatic solutions, he commanded great respect from his fellow officers.

He steadily climbed rank (from Blade to Constal), and even took on another tour of duty.
Now his second 5-year term has ended, and he signs it off as a Battlemaster, second only to a Lord High Marshall.

Then his friend and advisor Lord Sarp Redbeard asked him if he knew of honorably discharged that could aid him with a personal issue.
Without a second thought, Anon specified himself and then searched for others.

Now he leads a small force of past volunteers, through the Cormyrean portal to Dagger Falls, from where they will force-march to Melvaunt.
Bringing civilized ways to the uncivilized country of Thar.
