I've always been a scribe, next to my duty as a Paladin of Morwel.
And since these mortals have rescued me from the clutches of Evil, that task has once again befallen me.
I record these adventures so that my Queen may be convinced of their importance and that She may aid them in their quests as have I.
Since Seedfall the four are focused on recovering the Seeds of the Harbinger, I believe they want to strengthen their newfound Tooth of Acererak.
A legendary conduit, one of the Teeth of Dahlver-Nar (Draconic Lich), it may be used to 'earthbound' the Harbinger.
And in accomplishing that feat, they could very well destroy that which is eternal.
And now they've entered the monstrous Tree of Unlife. Its growth bolstered by one of the Seeds, and its malicious mind complemented by one of its new inhabitants; a Hag Druid.
In recording their progress I also found out that they've made allies that would help them, even in most desperate times.
As the group entered the Tree, to hack down the Root of Evil, a young nymph appeared to ward off the creatures gathering at its trunk.
Inside the enormous oak, the Cavalier, Master of MetaMagic, Illusionist, and Divine Oracle blew past any obstacle it and its Druid controller could throw their way.
Eventually they reached the Root and confronted Gathra and her minions.
First they recovered the Seed and then allowed their nemesis to transform into her most powerful form; a Great Wyrm Red Dragon.
The beast clawed its way outside and pyroblasted the gathered forces, including Autumn the Nymph..
The four bolstered their courage and stood up against this mighty foe, eventually driving it to the ground and slaying it.
Immediatley the Harbinger's General appeared, demanding to be in contact with the (now amplified) Tooth.
Complying, Shadow Wanneskor touch the Bleak general sending a Pulse across Faerûn that killed or greatly damaged all divine casters.
And there my task as a scribe temporarily ended, I shifted to their Realm to whisk theses four away.
Now they are again in our starfilled domain. Healed and informed, they will quickly return to recover yet another Seed.
