His Lordship, Hurter & Skinsaw Man

"And you are sure they will come?," Skinsaw Man asked.
"I am sure," His Lordship replied,"they have greedy souls and those can always be lured with the promise of gold.

"These Mrs Mortwell, Hask and Tabe will be there this night?"
"Yes, I wrote them about a meeting this night, so shall we go ?"

"No Lordship, I will not need you present. These three are to be prepared for our mistress. And you are not capable.."
"And he is?," Lorship asked.
"He will be there in case I need more muscle."

Hurter gave out a loud inhuman moan that grew to a shriek and then ran out towards Bradley's Barn on Cougar Creek. Eager to aid Skinsaw Man.


That night the swindlers Mortwell, Hask and Tabe were overcome by the Hurter and their hired bodyguard Grayst was driven insane by the workings of Skinsaw Man.
Although he wasn't to come with, His Lordship did watch the sacrifice of the souls to their mistress.
When they all returned, he spoke up and demanded to be the one preparing the next one.
Agreeing, the Skinsaw Man was curious as to who he would choose.


Two days later they were staking out the Sandpoint Lumbermill.
His Lordship knew of one called Banny Harker and he was supposed to work this night, alone.
He was surprised when Harker arrived with a woman.

Wanting to let it go, he was overruled by Skinsaw Man and given a choice.
Either Lordship himself would go and sacrifice the soul, or Hurter would do it.
Reluctantly Lordship stealthily entered the mill, and waited till the woman left, but Skinsaw already instructed Hurter to step in when needed.

Harker noticed the foul smell and then saw the creature hiding. Taking out his handaxe he told Katrina to stay back as he slashed at Lordship.
Almost immediately Hurter was upon them.
He slit and sliced with his strong claws and tore with his muscled jaw.
He pushed Katrina into the mill's sawblade and then ripped out Harker's lower jaw.
Skinsaw stepped in before Hurter would leave nothing left to sacrifice.
And while, again, His Lordship watched powerless, Skinsaw artistically displayed the body.


Last night they went out again, to the Sanatorium. Skinsaw knew that Grayst Sevilla was almost turned and being kept there. Tonight he will set him free.

Skinsaw pretended he didn't know, but he had noticed His Lordship leaving behind small pieces of parchment.
He also knew for whom they were; His Lordship had become envious of one of the Heroes. Lordship had watched Aldern being rescued, watched them ride together and kill a boar together. Lordship wanted to be as his Hero.
His envy had only grown over time, unable to change his current situation, unable to be heroic himself.

Skinsaw smiled as he tore open Erin Habe's abdomen, it was only a matter of time before His Lordship is consumed by his Envy.
Then there will be only him and Hurter.. and they will kill Sagerius for His Lordship.
