Synopsis at the end of part 1 (Burnt Offerings) of Rise of the Runelords.
The four characters, now known as Local heroes of Sandpoint;
Fletcher, Wizard
Sagerius, Spellthief
Barthel, Bard
Finn, Favored Soul
arose from the rank of commoner during the initial Goblin assault.
They saved Lord Aldern, befriended him and received gifts (horses).
Since then they cleared the Glassworks, and discovered the Catacombs of Wrath beneath (which they sealed), fought Sinspawn, Goblin Commando's and even a tiny Quasit.
They imprisoned Tsuto, and uncovered clues to the mastermind behind the assault.
They invaded Thistletop and entered the lower tombs, fought mercenaries, a Bugbear champion, wizards and Nualia (a torn Aasimar).
They engaged an ancient prisoner Barghest and left the Goblins to their own devices.
Relatively little involving the metaplot has ocurred during these events.
It's served primarily to introduce the Characters to Sandpoint.
The main villains were;
Tsuto (incarcerated in the Sanatorium)
Erylium (entombed beneath Sandpoint)
Malfeshnekor (bound beneath Thistletop)
Nualia (killed)
Nualia's plans are stopped for good, without her leadership the five Goblin tribes fall to bickering among themselves.
