Ameiko Kaijitsu

Daughter of Atsuii en Lonjiku, Ameiko grew up an only child.
At least until she found out she had a half-brother.

Raised in the Academy of Sandpoint an orphan, the half-elf Tsuto was pleasantly surprised when Ameiko first started visiting him.
She brought him some extra food and told tall tales.

She explained why mother couldn't visit and why father didn't.
Saddened by it, he became stoic and didn't pursue the matter.

In their teens Tsuto grew more interested in other girls, especially Nualia.
And so Ameiko was on her own again.

She took several odd jobs, trying to gain her independance but never really having the courage to leave Sandpoint.
The terrible fire that heralded the Late Unpleasantness helped Ameiko on her way.
Tsuto was heartbroken by the loss of Nuali, who was pronounced dead with her adoptive father, Father Tobyn. And he wanted to leave as well.

Joined by her brother, they left to become adventurers.
Just one year later they returned, to bury their mother.
She was Chopper's first victim and her father appeared devastated.

Ameiko stayed and bought the Rusty Dragon. Her brother left, wrathful.
Over the years she sometimes reached out for Tsuto, but soon learned he had become a mercenary stationed in Magnimar.
Together with his associates Orik Vancaskerkin and Lyrie Akenia, he took on any job as long as the pay was good.

In his last writings he told Ameiko that he was doing it all for Nualia, and soon she would understand.

A few days ago Sandpoint was raided by Goblins. Four friends had stood up and became known as Local Heroes.
Ameiko has offered them room and board for free and with another patron, Aldern Foxglove, organised a feast for all.

Yesterday she received word from Tsuto, he was in town and wanted to meet at the Glassworks at midnight.
Apparantly Lonjiku was involved in the raid !

Today Ameiko has gone missing and her loyal waitress Bethana has translated Tsuto's letter for the Heroes.
Now she is waiting patiently for them to finish their breakfast..
