Constal Maximanus let the group escorting a wide-eyed 'prisoner' through to see Lord Redbeard.
Sarp seated them and sent for a priest to Break the Enchantment (Dominate) put upon the woman.
"Well then, I was wondering when you'd show up," Lord Redbeard began, "How'd the ritual go and what have you found out?"
"The ritual was nothing !" Rekk snorted.
"We smashed those puny would-be clerics and entered the dungeons below. There we found those dark-skinned, black-plated guards and smashed them too !
Then we found this Lady and her pet snakes," Rekk said, pausing.
"Let me guess," Sarp added,"you smashed them as well?"
"Yeah, smashed them to bits. Small snake bits!
Then after the black portal we found this boat, and killed that freak.
Now we have brought one prisoner, because she couldn't fit on the boat.
My friends here brought books, maps and papers to read," Rekk finished.
"I see, and the priests were all dedicated to Mystra ?"
"Nah, some weird black, purple circle thing. Those guards and Lady were definitely Evil, definitely."
"And how exactly did that portal look like?"
"It was a great black circular disc of darkness, bordered by deep purple stone. The disc itself emanated cold, though we believe that to be an illusion of sorts," Tereus explained.
