Lord Dornig Leiyraghon paced his study. Before him stood the messenger.

Deep in his own thoughts he didn't notice him grabbing the moneypurse he was due, and bolt out the door. Had he noticed he didn't care.

The scions were saved, including his worthless son Kalman, who now openly renounced his family.
Those adventurers had put ridiculous ideas into his head.
Still, not all was lost. His emissaries had safely fled the Citadel and the orcs can always be gathered again.
The ritual failing was a loss, but he was a patient man.

Leiraghon prevailed because of this trait, only one more year and a new Despot shall be elected.
A true ruler for Melvaunt to gather northeners; orc, giant and ogre alike.

"And my sons will be the catalysts," Dornig ended his thoughts out loud.
