Svevenka's Revenge / Gyukak's Disguise

The capricious nature spirit, an icy Nymph named Svevenka felt the death of her cousin Myriana as a stab in her heart.
Through her daily Commune spell she knew of the Heroes' arrival days before they would enter her Fen.

At first thankful that her spirit was accompanying them she quickly grew bittered. The companionship moved into and out of her sight their last day of travel (Wind Walk), and she determined that whatever their excuse Myriana's spirit would be laid to rest.

As the four emerged out of the mountains, following the ghostly after image of the original river Avah, Svevenka had already cast Control Weather, Call Lightning Storm and Control Wind..

Almost outraged she moved to their location, screaming, howling; "Return me my family, let her rest."
Her initial rage subsided, the tornado-like winds calmed down and the summoned lightning storm dissipated..
They were gone, again. She couldn't feel Myriana's presence nearby and set out to draw her spirit towards her Fen of Icemists.



Disguised as a Stone Giant, Gyukak infiltrated the Giant encampment within Lower Shalast, in an attempt to organize a rebellion and escape this cursed city.
Several Giants are completely loyal to him, but keep their allegiances secret.
His motivations aren't completely selfless, he hopes to build himself a private army large enough to lead out of Xin-Shalast so he can claim several now-abandoned Giant homelands on the Storval Plateau as his own holdings.

Barthel, Finn, Sagerius and Fletcher had made their presence known at the edge of camp and shared a meal with a band of Hill Giants.
Gyukak observed them and made mental contact with Fletcher to set up a meeting that night.
He hopes to convince them to create a big distraction to the north, such as attacking the Blue Dragon Ghlorofaex, so he can lead his Giants south and out of the city without attracting the attention of the Rune Giants..
