The Quarut started to recalculate. This fight should not last this long.
His Pre-Incarnations have observed this party for years, never to interfere, but to report and compute their progress.
Now his Time had come to stop their meddling with predetermined courses.
In order to finish them off quickly he had extracted future adversaries, capable of defeating this party with relative ease.
That, however, proved to be an overstatement.
As Nihlus' silvered sword slid through its gears and severed its main arteries, Quarut 6 send its last observations by inter-planar link to Mechanus.
There, Primus immediately ordered the constructing of Quarut 7 through 10.
As the Inevitable died, it's servants (SpellWeaver and Maulgroth) lost their connection with this time and shimmered away.
The summoned Fire Monolith never left..
Although it returned underground in search of a warmer hideout.
The battle won, the heroes PlaneShifted to the Negative Energy Plane to recover the Tooth of Acerak.
